What are the 5 Disciplemaking Skills?

This is the 3rd in a series on The Fives – the five principles, skills and tools that can help you advance disciple making movements.

Jesus sent 72 disciples into the harvest field to raise up workers from the harvest field, for the harvest field, and we are called to do the same.

Here five skills that will help you do that:

1. Live life with the lost as a helpful, hopeful person (Matthew 5:16, 1 Peter 3:15). This is how you will be found by people of peace.

2. Help people of peace discover and understand what God is saying to them. Do this by creating an expectancy (1 Samuel 3:1-10) and by letting them lead with questions (Acts 8:26-40).

3. Stimulate people of peace to have spiritual conversations with their circles of influence. This is what Jesus did with the Samaritan woman (John 4:1-43)…
